Mrs. Alice M. Latour, 89, died at 3 a. m. today at Saranac Lake General Hospital where she had been a patient since Jan. 1.

Mrs. Latour was the widow of Edward Latour and her late son Parnell Latour ran Parnell's Shoe Salon on Main Street. She was born Aug. 18, 1878 in Black Brook, a daughter of Edward and Julia Reagan Leonard. She made her home at 67 1/2 Margaret St.

For the past three years, Mrs. Latour was cared for by her sister, Miss Lulu Leonard, who survives. Other survivors are two grandchildren, Charles Shaw and Mrs. Phillip (Madeline) Hammond, both of Rochester; 13 great-grand children, and several nieces and nephews.

The Fortune Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral.

The Rosary Service will be at the funeral home on Friday evening. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist Church. Interment will be in May in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
